I really appreciate it and I'm humbled that you have chosen to help me out. I'm lagging behind the Top 3, but it's not over until it's over at midday NZ time.<br /><br />Anyway, make sure to let me know if there is anything I can ever help you out with!<br /><br />Yesterday I was feeling a bit like someone who had been stood up on a potential hot date.<br /><br />As I mentioned in the below post, The Sunday Mail had arranged for a photographer to come around and take a few shots of me being a goose in an All Blacks jersey. <br /><br />Actually, the photographer racked up hundreds of shots and I felt like Zoolander but much heavier with all of the different poses.<br /><br />The catwalk is definitely not for me!<br /><br />Anyway, the story wasn't run in the Sunday Mail. We like making fun about each other, especially at sporting events, but we’ll get together afterwards and have a few beers in the pub, have a few laughs, and tell a few sheep jokes.<br /><br />Actually, here is someone dressed up in a sheep suit at the Gabba during the Australia versus New Zealand Test Match – at the height of summer! (from ABC news). I’ll keep my word and do this if I get through.<br /><br />But <span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">this can only happen if </span>a large chunk of the 4 million New Zealanders and a small proportion of their 60 million sheep will have to press ‘Follow’ on the right hand side.<br /><br />You can get a preview of me in the All Blacks jersey tomorrow, but I’d rather much you see me in person.<br /><br />I know that I might be a bit smelly after 3 months of wearing the jersey, and I’d probably be quarantined if I ever set foot back in Australia, but I think it’s worth it!<br /><br />I think it’s THAT unlikely, I’m willing to take a punt on this!<br /><br />So there you go New Zealand – here’s your chance. The people there are friendly, the scenery is inspiring, and beer there is fabulous.<br /><br /><br />However, because New Zealand is so far away from everywhere else, Kiwis have their own unique bent on the English language, both in terms of slang and pronunciation.<br /><br />First time visitors to New Zealand can often find the accent almost impossible to understand.
